An open, self-hosted alternative to what3words, built on S2 geometry: every ~5 m² cell of the Earth gets five common English words — and a check word that catches a mis-heard address with certainty.

How it works: lat,lng → containing S2 cell at level 22 (≈4.8 m²) → 47-bit Hilbert ordinal → multiplicative mix (neighbours never look similar) → CRC-12 check word → five words from a fixed 4096-word vocabulary. Any single wrong word is detected with certainty and repaired by /v1/suggest.
